- Must be of a creative design that fits Georgina’s personality
- Must fit perfectly and have strong straight seams
- Must have a proffesionla finish
- Must have special features that could be inspired by Georgina’s interests
- Must be made of a good fabric that holds its shape and doesnt crease
- Should be adaptable so Georgina can wear the dress again
- Should be inspired by nature and historical styles/eras.
- Should minimize costs wherever possible
Design Ideas
Georgina needs a dress that effectively showcases her unique personality and style with a modern and sophisticated touch. To create a timeless and elegant evening gown, we can draw inspiration from historical periods like the medieval and Georgian eras. Opting for darker colors over lighter shades can promote longevity, as lighter tones tend to discolor over time. By incorporating design elements and embellishments, Georgina can embrace a stand-out look.

Design Development
Georgina has elected to have her dress crafted and modeled utilizing the integrated skirt design that features the pointed standout skirt from Design 1, showcasing an open front to expose a plain skirt underneath. The dress will boast wing-like stand-up sleeves from Design 6, accompanied by a feathered bodice and basque waistline. Additionally, she requires a standard corset tie-back and desires the design to be versatile for various events.
Pattern Draping & Design
Explore various ways to attach different pieces of the dress together in order to make it more customizable and unique. Take into consideration varying factors such as the bodice construction, pleat style, and the construction and stiffness of the skirt layers. By incorporating these elements, it allows for increased personalization of the dress.
